Meet Elite Goaltender Development Coach Ed McDonough
Goaltender Development Coach Ed McDonough has been a devoted hockey player for over 21 years and a coach for over 10 years.
He has played on Boston Harbor Wolves of the Eastern Junior Hockey League, the Bridgewater Bandits and the Boston Junior Black Hawks.
In addition, he played for Catholic Memorial (Super 8 Champions), Dedham High School, the All Boston Globe and All Boston Herald All-Star teams and he was a member of the Bay State League All-Stars two times.
Mr. McDonough is a graduate of Curry College (Major in Philosophy; Minor in History) were he played on the team for 3 years. In 2009, he was named the ECAC Northeast Goaltender of the week when he handed Curry their only shutout of the 2008-2009 season.
During his time at Curry, Coach Ed also received the prestigious Devin Davies Spirit Award for his continued "team-player" attitude, dedication and hockey knowhow.

As A Coach... Mr. McDonough has been on the coaching staff of several teams.
He was an Assistant Coach for Ursuline Academy and has served as Goaltender Coach for Dedham High School, Wellesley High School, the Northeast Elite Hockey League, the Hub City Hockey League and the New England College Development League (NECDL).
In addition to conducting private one-on-one goaltender development lessons, Coach Ed is the full-time On-Ice Director and Goalie Coach for the Rob Barletta Goalie School located in Walpole, MA.
